This 17th Century Manor is a beautiful and historic wedding venue in the Sussex Downs
Set within the South Downs’ rolling countryside, the grade II listed Northease Manor is a truly beautiful wedding location. The historic 17th Century Queen Anne Manor House is now home to the independent Northease Manor School but opens its doors to hold your special day.
About Northease Manor
The rustic Tudor Hall at Northease Manor is perfect for civil ceremonies with up to 110 guests or makes a lovely setting for your wedding breakfast. To fully incorporate the rustic theme we can provide solid wood trestle tables and benches. Alternatively, our crisp white, floor length linen beautifully covers the trestle tables for a more elegant feel.
We have a great relationship with Reveries Wedding Decorators who can be brought on board to drape and light the Tudor Hall to complement any style celebration.
The Grounds
Northease Manor’s grounds are simply stunning. From the flint covered house to the luscious lawns and trees, the grounds offer a beautiful backdrop for your wedding photographs. Our Rose Garden is the perfect spot for your welcome drinks and canapés in which your guests can relax and enjoy the stunning Sussex surroundings. As the English weather is notoriously unpredictable, we also include a complimentary Capri marquee for your welcome drinks.
Wedding Breakfast
Your wedding breakfast can be designed by you so you can be sure it is something you’ll love on the day. With the assistance of Circa Head Chef Marc Bolger, you will design the perfect menu based on your tastes, requirements and theme for the day. The venue is well-suited for a formal seated meal but there are a number of options for a more relaxed, informal dining experience.
